Elba residents urged to refrain from drinking water

Elba’s Water and Electric Board announces a problem with the water from the Pea River east toward Enterprise. Resident’s are urged to refrain from drinking the water and washing clothes immediately until further notice.
The water appears to be cloudy, but officials said the water department employees are currently working to correct this problem.
