Headland apartment fire extinguished quickly

The Headland Fire Department responded to a call on Boynton Street on Wednesday where they found mattresses on fire inside of an apartment.

The fire, called in shortly after 1 p.m., was quickly extinguished and the mattresses were dragged outside.
