Local schools closing early Friday
Local school leaders aren’t taking any chances Friday, deciding to close schools early as Tropical Storm Fay continues to be forecast to move through the Wiregrass.
Dothan and Houston County schools, along with Geneva County and Henry County schools and Geneva City schools, will let out at 1 p.m. on Friday, though the heaviest rains from Fay aren’t expected to move in until around 7 p.m. Enterprise City Schools are expected to make a decision at 5:30 a.m. Friday whether to let school out early. No other local school systems have made a decision yet on letting out early.
Houston County Emergency Management Agency leaders aren’t expecting the area to come under a tornado watch on Friday, though flooding remains a possibility.

If anyone knows about Ozark City Schools I would really like to know whether or not we have school tomorrow or not, or if we are leaving early or not.
