Public forums set for library project

The Houston-Love Memorial Library Committee has recently unveiled plans to purchase road frontage on North Oates Street adjacent to the current library site in order to allow for expansion and renovation of the facility.

Two public forums are planned to provide a platform for citizen input and questions. The first forum is scheduled for Tuesday, December 1 at 9 a.m. in the City Commission Chambers located on the 2nd floor of the Civic Center. A second forum will be held at the Dothan Opera House at 6 p.m. on Monday, December.
