Shooting suspect in custody
A man accused of shooting two people in Level Plains will likely make his first appearance in court Monday.
Jose Gutierrez is charged with reckless endangerment, discharging a weapon into an occupied building and two counts of second-degree assault, according to Dale County Jail records.
The records say Gutierrez shot two people in the torso on Dale County Road 109 in Level Plains on Friday.
