Tornado warning issued for Geneva County
As one tornado warning in the Wiregrass expired another was recently announced for Geneva County.
According to the National Weather Service Web site, the agency has issued a tornado warning for Geneva County until 9 a.m.
The National Weather Service said the doppler radar indicated a developing tornado 10 miles south of Samson or 12 miles west of Geneva moving northwest at 30 mph.
The National Weather Service has also issued a tornado watch until 10 a.m. for Houston County, Dale County, Henry County, Coffee County and Geneva County.
A tornado warned in Houston County expired at 8 p.m.
