Wicksburg single-vehicle crash leaves one with minor injuries
Wreck on Judge Logue Road Oct. 1
Wreck on Judge Logue Road Oct. 1A white pickup truck overturned in Wicksburg Wednesday morning and left the driver with minor injuries.
Frank Lee said he only suffered a bruise on his hand after he lost control of the truck he was driving on Judge Logue Road a couple miles off U.S. 84 west.
“I’m lucky I didn’t hit one of the (fence) posts,“ Lee said. “I’ve got more luck than I know what to do with.“
An Alabama State Highway Patrol trooper responded to the accident, along with the Wicksburg and Bay Springs fire departments.
The truck overturned a couple hundred feet from a creek bridge at a curve in the road. It was the same bridge where 15-year-old Whitney Lake died in a single-vehicle crash earlier this year.
