It’s not a bad word

Dothan has many signs on its streets that contain a four-letter word. It’s not a bad word, but one that could save your life.
The word is “STOP” and it is found at all four-way intersections.
From my observations, there are many drivers who do not know the rules of the road at these intersections. I believe the rule is “first come, first served.” That rule should be followed even though you were there only one foot ahead of the other car’s arrival.
You should always come to a full stop. If anything at the intersection blocks your vision around the corner, ease out slowly just in case you’re the only smart one there.
Thanks for saving your life — and maybe mine, also.
