I just read your article saluting newspaper carriers and I couldn’t agree more. I wish to salute my newspaper carrier, Steve Penton.
My husband passed away in June and the very morning that my husband’s obituary appeared in your paper, Steve delivered an extra three copies of the paper. When I called Steve to thank him and identified myself, the first thing he asked was “How are you doing?”
It is that little extra attention that makes Steve a great carrier.
Thank you, Steve, for doing a great job.
