Letter: Appalled by Congressional health care plan
Published: October 21, 2009
First, let me say that I am appalled at the fact that no one has filed a suit against those in elected office who have exempted themselves from the health care program that they are imposing on all the other citizens of America.
I am convinced it is blatant discrimination to exempt themselves of the position they are attempting to foist on the populace, as this action is placing themselves in an elite class above all others under them, which is discriminatory.
I would think that the AMA would consider such action, as this will affect their means of treating patients in a manner of deserved dignity and respect.
Also, it seems that the attorneys would be really concerned that this is being forced upon the general public against our will and placed in a dominated position for treatment for our health concerns.
I do not think I am the only one who feels that we are being treated in a subordinate fashion, or, should I say, being considered peons in the eyes of the elite group who consider themselves our masters.
“We, the people” should stand together as one voice and demand they be placed under the same health care program that they vote to apply to us.
