Letter: End your wicked ways
Published: November 5, 2009
I am 85 years old, a World War II Navy combat veteran, and this may be my last chance to share a word of concern with my generation and the next, if you indulge me.
God is fed up with all the sinful ways we in America are living.
In II Chronicles 7:14, God was telling not only that generation but all generations that turning from wicked ways, praying and seeking God’s face is the only hope of getting him to help us get things back right in this country. Nothing our government does, including the present administration, will be able to do it.
Our God of yesterday is still the God of today, whether we accept him or not. Will we in America repent, or will we stubbornly refuse and foolishly accept the consequences of some really bad stuff forewarned from God?
If we think God is just playing a game with us, the ball is in our hands. But remember, God always wins the last quarter, and the only way we win is to be on his side.

I totally agree with you Mr. McNeil. My GOD continue to have mercy on us and our nation.
Oh
My
God
Wow.
This letter has left me speechless.
Um, Walter, the Jews DID return to God, and they were still punished: in fact, they were punished more than ever.
That’s why in the Jews had to reject the classical idea of suffering—which clearly failed—and invent a completely new theology: apocalypticism.
For some messed up, unknown reason, God turned over the earth to Satan. Satan rules our world, not God. Therefore, people who go against God are REWARDED here on earth, not punished; and people who follow God are PUNISHED here on earth, not rewarded.
Maybe you’ve heard of a famous apocalyptic Jew of 1st century Palestine: his name was Jesus of Nazareth.
free, nothing wrong with voting republican, just look at what you get when you vote democrat !!! The sheeples supposedly voted in an obama bin laden. I say supposedly because i’ve yet to find over 5 or 6 people that admit voting for him.
I have no faith in the church or its leaders to do anything but what they do best: take the money, vote republican, and be against everything for the people.
