Letter: ‘Problem solved’
Published: October 22, 2009
I want to thank Sanford S. Williams of Geneva for his Oct. 14 response to my Oct. 7 letter to the Dothan Eagle.
The enhanced techniques used by our honorable and brave soldiers were done to save American lives. And before anyone attacks the military, my son is in the middle of his second hitch, so I understand firsthand the sacrifices that the people associated with the military make.
Granted, around the world American soldiers don’t carry much value, but to me, they are more precious than pure gold. Anything used by our soldiers to protect and save even one life is worth the effort, no matter what techniques were used on the those who seek to destroy this great nation.
I firmly believe that once the information was extracted from these terrorists and their usefulness to us was over, they should be made to kneel down, pray to Allah or whomever they pray to and tell him to get their virgins ready, then chop their heads off. Problems with Abu Ghraib terrorist prisoners would be solved.

Amen to that William…
It always amazes me how the folks that call themselves Christian are the first ones to want to kill someone who doesn’t agree with them.
Allah is just the word they use for God…even Israelis use the word Allah, as it is THE word for “god” in their language…Arab Christians use the word “Allah” as well…
You idiots, you are all praying to the same Skywizard…you are just using a different name…
Maybe all you zealots will beat each other to death or rapture yourselves soon and us normal people can finally have our planet back.
(Insert eye rolling emoticon here).

Yep! That’s what Jesus would want.
Tim you are so right. If it was the other way around they would do it in a heartbeat and HAVE!
Your entire letter is your opinion. Here are the facts: Torture is illegal. Also there’s the little fact that, according to the Armed Services Report, the torture program wasn’t implemented to gain intelligence to prevent another attack on the U.S. The torture plan was implemented to get false intelligence to JUSTIFY the unnecessary Iraq war/debacle.
Just in the last few months there have been two different terrorist plots stopped. Both of those were done without torture.
