‘Who is paying Neal Boortz?‘
Published: August 14, 2008
Either Neal Boortz thinks all his listeners are really, really stupid or he has finally lost his marbles.
Back in 2004, I had proposed that since this country is not designed for $4 gasoline (I actually did say four dollars), we need to start slowly increasing the tax on gasoline and use the money to support a public transportation system.
Now that we have $4 a gallon gas, how and why are Boortz and that two-legged dog of a talk show host, Dennis Miller, out supporting the big oil?
The Republicans have never had a shortage of small time crooks to be their mouthpieces. From a convicted perjurer in Col. Oliver North to the convicted burglar in G. Gordon Liddy to drug abuser Rush Limbaugh to Dick Morris, who became famous for cavorting with prostitutes and now the new and improved Dennis Miller, it is hard to believe that someone would really take these clowns seriously, but here we are.
I hear these guys lamenting how the Big Oil is being portrayed as callous, as how to figure out the profit margins, and how Democrats are out to kill their business. Let me assure you that I am not voting for Obama or for McCain, I will only tell you the truth and let you make up your own mind about the presidential candidates and your talk show hosts.
I am sworn to protect this country against the enemies, foreign and domestic.
So who is paying Neal Boortz?

You’re kidding, right? Which government school failed to teach you that when a business increases its investments into the production of a good or service and profits increase by the same percentage as the capital outlay that the profit margin remains the same? Oil companies make the same money per dollar invested as they did prior to the spike in oil prices.
Furthermore, consider that a barrel of crude increased in price substantially more on a percentage basis than did a gallon of gasoline. $4/gal. may seem steep, but it’s not as high as it could be, or for that matter probably should be by now.
Now, consider this as a highly probable result of your little tax increase proposal: the gas tax in increased; the cost of a gallon of fuel goes up because businesses won’t just eat the increase themselves; people drive less to conserve or purchase more economical vehicles (or both); tax revenues decline as a result, leaving those of you who want to tax your way out of every inconvenience squawking about how the “lost revenues” need to be replaced by another tax. Sound about right?
Now, on to the insults: G. Gordon Liddy did his time for his crimes. Yes, he’s a convicted felon. Oliver North’s conviction was vacated in 1990. He is NOT a convicted felon as his record is clean. Rush Limbaugh dealt with a problem that thousands of other Americans have faced, but again was never convicted of anything. You have nothing to throw at Dennis Miller aside from silly insults, and Dick Morris’ escapades pale in comparison to Comrade Klinton’s (spelling only for effect…I know it begins with a “C”) Oval Office shenanigans.
If you intend to allege that Neal Boortz receives money for his position I hereby challenge you to produce evidence to substantiate such an allegation.
And for the record, I won’t even go into the details beyond mentioning the following names of (some alleged and other proven) Democrat criminals: Ted Kennedy, both Klintons, William “Cold Cash” Jefferson, Alan Mollohan, Barack Obama (yes snorting coke is illegal), Tony Rezko, Jim Traficant, Harry Reid, and the list goes on.
Now quit griping and be thankful that gas isn’t $10/gal. like some other parts of the world.
Perhaps, just maybe, it’s Neal Boortz’s employer, Big Radio, who is paying him - and hopefully quite handsomely since he’s so entertaining.
Honestly, it is ignorant say that “this country is not designed for $4 gas.“ Was this country designed for $1.59 soda? How about $89 air conditioners? $0.99/lb peaches? Seriously, you may want to consider going to school or going back to school. A country isn’t designed. Governments are designed, but a country exists as it is. You should argue, rather, that the US can’t handle $4/gal gas. If that’s your argument, you’ve already been proven wrong in the short run and it’s likely you’ll be proven wrong in the long run.
It’s good that you feel protective of our country, but your ignorance is harmful because you are attempting be be authoritative when you have no business being that way.
Is their a point to your lil diatribe here ?
First you insult Neal’s listeners, then you mention what sounds like an inept plan to tackle high gas prices, then you run down a group of conservatives for no apparent reason, then you bring up the big oil thing again without really saying anything and then you mention your not voting (Thank my God for that by the way) and that your here to protect us all…
So is their an overall point here besides the one that states your an uneducated tool with short bus economics knowledge ?
One. Beelyun. Dollars. (Assume the standard “pinkie at corner of mouth” pose)
Hey Mohammed! Jealous much? If you dedicated half the time you spend complaining about what others have to actually getting some of those things yourself, you’d be a lot better off!

Retort:
Yeah, and of coarse that tax will be never passed on to the customer, Santa Claus is real and John Edwards would never cheat on his wife.

Retort:
They are supporting the free market because once the gub’ment gets it’s grubby 5-thumbed paws involved you can be assured of three things:
1. They will screw it up.
2. The citizens will end up paying more than what they pay now be it in the short term and/or long term.
3. All of the above.

The democrats and their ilk are not without sin either my friend.

Gee, thank you, that is very kind of you. As for the first part of your paragraph, I await with breathless anticipation YOUR explanation of profit margins and how they relate to business in a free market economy. You really did not go into detail on that.
You Said:
I am sworn to protect this country against the enemies, foreign and domestic.
Retort:
None. If you are current/former military, then I thank you from the bottom of my heart and I truly appreciate your sacrifice and service, even if we do not see eye to eye on issues.
You Said:
So who is paying Neal Boortz?
Retort:
Simple. It is a personal contract between him and his employer as to who from/how much Mr. Boortz receives for his work. Just like…I assume…you are in a personal agreement with your employer as to how much you receive for your efforts.
