Flood warning continues until Friday afternoon for the Chattahoochee River at W.F. George Lock & Dam in Columbia. At 8:15 this morning, the river was at 135.1 feet. Minor flooding is occurring and is forecast to continue. Flood stage is 134 feet.

Bay Springs man died after helping family during flood

A 74-year-old man died early Sunday as he helped his family with a flooded home over the weekend.
