Seems like my blog post last night generated a little buzz. I had one guy with the Troy contingent tell me he read it, and a fellow beat writer in the conference tell me the same thing about this hotel, how the exercise room equipment was broken, etc. I should try that out in mid-afternoon, as I’ve got an early lunch known somewhere for its po-boys. Can’t say anything about the town yet, since I didn’t get here until late.
Still, if anyone changes their hotel reservations because of my previous post, I’ll feel like my mission is accomplished. I think this is ULM’s final home game of the year (could be wrong), but if any fans of other schools read this, heed my advice.
My doors are locked tight and the “Do Not Disturb” sign will hang on my door from the hallway. I’ve got enough towels and I don’t trust the housekeeping staff.
Here’s my game preview. I know how to spell “Louisiana” but I’m guessing who posted it laid down on the “n” too much. Better change that.
