Boris Lee was named Sun Belt Defensive Player of the Week for his performance against UL-Monroe. He was the only Troy player to get honored, as UNT’s Riley Dodge and his accounting for seven touchdowns against Western Kentucky edged out Jerrel Jernigan‘s 13-catch, 203-yard performance against an unbeaten ULM squad (though he had just one touchdown).

Boris Lee (Troy, Sr., LB)—Lee capped a stellar performance against ULM in which he posted a game and season-high 14 tackles, with a fourth quarter interception he returned 30 yards for a touchdown. It was Lee’s eighth career interception and the second he has returned for a score. He also returned a pick for a touchdown against ULM in 2007. Lee had one of nine tackles for loss for the Trojans in the game. His performance against ULM moved him into third on Troy’s list for career solo tackles (222), and into seventh on the career total tackles list (336). His two TD returns for scores is also tied for second in Troy history.

HERE is the rest of the Sun Belt release.
