HERE is the baseball notebook I referred to earlier in the day on the blog.
Also, another coach with Troy ties was named head coach, this time at Slocomb as James Wise will take over the reigns there.

First question - yes. I bet Marcum is listed ahead of Jarboe most, if not all season, but Jarboe will play a lot. So will Marcum, who is a pretty decent player in his own right.
Re: Kinlaw. He’s finishing up online course work from JUCO. So are Massaqoui and Newland. I’m sure all three will be fine, but there’s always a chance they won’t be. Still some fingers crossed, but I think they’ll be eligible.

Drew, I saw on the depth chart where Zack Marcum was ahead of Josh Jarboe. Is this simply because Marcum is a senior who has played under the lights beore and they dont want to throw Jarboe in right away not having ever taken a D1 snap? I’ve heard Jarboe is the real deal when it comes to making plays, I would hope he’s as good advertised…
Also, is there a possibility Eugene Kinlaw won’t quality? I read on your blog he still has some course work to finish. He’ll be a huge asset if he qualifies. What are the chances he wont?
