Quick chat with ULM QB Trey Revell

Just had a short phone interview with ULM quarterback Trey Revell, who broke his thumb on his throwing hand two weeks ago against Arkansas State.

He had surgery the next day and admitted he’s not able to throw the ball yet. He said the hardest part has been the mental frustration. If he can’t go, which I’m thinking he probably won’t be able to, redshirt freshman Cody Wells will get his second start.

Revell is from Tallahassee, Fla., native and said he’s good friends with Troy quarterback Tanner Jones, but hasn’t talked to him this year because he lost his number when he had to get a new cell phone.

“I’m kicking myself for that,“ Revell said.
