Some Monday afternoon notes

***The Troy-Arkansas game will be televised by CSS at 6:30 p.m. November 14. Darn, I was hoping for an earlier game.

***Troy’s 6-game win streak is tied for the longest of the FBS era with a 6-game streak in the 2007 season. If that record doesn’t get broken this weekend, there’s problems.

***An interesting note is that OL coach John Schlarman‘s brother-in-law is Michael Federspiel, who is a freshman linebacker for WKU that is redshirting. I’ll have more on that later this week.

***Larry Blakeney will be on the Tim Brando show Tuesday at noon. It’s a nationally-syndicated show on Sporting News Radio, but I don’t know those markets around here. I think it’s 560AM in Dothan.

***I should be on with John and Barry around 9:35 a.m. CST Tuesday on Sports Radio 740 AM in Montgomery. You can listen HERE

***Kicker Sam Glusman is still sore, according to Blakeney. “Sam’s still sore. I’ve kept up with him. I know he had a pretty good week (last week) but he wasn’t ready. We’ll wait and see how he does. The other boy (Michael Taylor) is kicking awfully good, but I anticipate Sam hopefully getting back. We’ll see.“

***I should have another video presentation sometime this week.
