A live Nativity will be sponsored by Grace Harvest Church of Dothan, the Ark Christian Center of Dothan and New Covenant Church of Newton through Dec. 24. The Nativity will be set up beside Maaco Paint on the northeast side of Ross Clark Circle. Hours are 5:30-8 p.m.

Triumphant Cross Lutheran Church, 2643 Murphy Mill Road, will celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ during a 5 p.m. and 11 p.m. worship services on Christmas Eve, Thursday, Dec. 24. Both services will include individual Candle Lighting and Holy Communion (open to all in attendance). The 5 p.m. service will feature a special story for the children. Greater Sardis Missionary Baptist Church, 707 W. Reynolds St., Ozark, will host a Watch Night Service on Thursday, Dec. 31, beginning at 10 p.m. The service will include scripture, songs of praise and prayers for the New Year. Speaker will be the Rev. Freddy L. Flowers of St. Paul AME Church in Ozark. The event is sponsored by the Ozark-Dale County Ministerial Alliance.

Wesley Chapel Church, intersection of Highways 65 and 54 at Bells Crossroads in Echo, will host its annual New Year’s Eve Gospel Sing on Dec. 31 from 7:30 p.m. until midnight. Harris Temple Church of God in Christ, 747 Adams Ave., Elba, will host a Watch Night Worship Celebration and New Year’s Revival. The New Year’s Eve service will begin at 10 p.m. with intercessory prayer at 9:30 p.m. The New Year’s Revival will begin during this celebration and run from Thursday, Dec. 31, to Saturday, Jan. 2. Klondyke Gospel Music Center, 3885 Highway 123 S. between Newton and Ozark, will celebrate its 1,500th gospel concert and 20 years of music ministry with a special New Year’s Day concert featuring The Dixie Echoes of Pensacola, Fla., on Jan. 1 at 7 p.m. Refreshments will be served during the break.
