A trio of local projects received national publicity today when Country Crossing developer Ronnie Gilley and country music artists Lorrie Morgan and George Jones appeared on the Fox Business Channel for a 15-minute interview.
Fox Business Channel anchor Degan McDowell asked the trio questions about the local Country Crossing development, upcoming BamaJam concert and "We Are Enterprise", a CD project designed to raise money for the new Enterprise High School.
"We are about helping and we are about loving each other and we are about reaching out," Morgan said when asked about the country music community's assistance with the "We Are Enterprise" recording.
Gilley was also able to provide a brief update on the progress of Country Crossing. He said he expects the initial foundation for the George Jones Possum Holler Bed and Breakfast to be dried within two weeks, weather permitting. Also, he said he expects Phase 1 of the development to be complete by the end of the year, with the project employing 1,200 by year's end.
Later, the trio spent one hour on "The Strategy Room", one of the FoxNews.com live web streams. For more on their appearance, check back at Dothaneagle.com and pick up a copy of Wednesday's Dothan Eagle.
