Church burns in Columbia

A church was lost to a fire Friday night in Columbia.

Elizabeth Church was engulfed when the Columbia, Pansey and Webb volunteer fire departments arrived on the scene just after 9:33 p.m. Friday, according to
Columbia EMS Director Clay Hamm.

No injuries were reported from the fire, but the building was a total loss.

Hamm said no cause of the fire has been determined.
