Authorities are looking for a Florida murder suspect believed to be with either a friend or family member in the Dothan area.
According to a statement from the Tallahassee Police Department, police are looking for Lamont A. Harrison on charges he shot 36-year-old Mario Cloud to death at his home in Tallahassee, Fla., on Thursday, Aug. 5.
Dothan Police Cpl. Rachel David said in an e-mail that she was notified that Tallahassee police believe Harrison to be in the Dothan area.
A statement from the Tallahassee Police Department said detectives learned before the shooting that Cloud had been involved in an argument with several people about missing money. Police said witness accounts had Cloud quickly going into his home after Harrison arrived at the residence. The police statement said the investigation revealed Harrison kicked open the front door of Cloud's home, and later fatally shot him.
Tallahassee police detectives have charged Harrison with murder, armed burglary and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
