Dothan home invasion robbers sought

Two robbers are being sought for a home invasion which took place Saturday night on Westmont Drive, just off West Main Street.

According to information from Dothan police, residents in the 100 block of Westmont got home just before 8 p.m. As they entered through the front door, two men came in immediately behind them. Both were armed with handguns and forced the family of three to lie face down on the floor.

The robbers took property and cash. Police are currently looking for at least two robbers, one of whom is described as a black male, medium build, approximately 5 feet 11 inches tall, with a scar on his cheek, a tear drop tattoo on his face and possibly an additional tattoo on his neck.

Police are asking anyone with information about the case or identity of the suspects to call the Dothan Police Department or CrimeStoppers at 793-7000.
