Woman pleads guilty to felony mail crime

A Wiregrass woman recently pleaded guilty to a felony destruction of mail charge.

Court records show Aaron Marie Kelly pleaded guilty last week in federal court to the destruction or delay of letter or package while working as an employee of the U.S. Postal Service between July 2007 and April 16, 2009, in Chancellor.

Court records show Kelly faces a prison sentence of not more than five years, and a fine not more than $250,000.

Kelly will be sentenced for the felony mail crime on April 29.
