Police recently arrested a Dothan woman and charged her with felony child abuse on a 3-year-old boy.
Court records show detectives charged Elyse Michelle Caster, 22, of South Ussery Street, with spanking the boy on Monday with a belt, which caused bruises on his back, arms, legs, buttocks, thighs and hips.
Caster was taken to the Houston County Jail and held on a $15,000 bond.
