»  Comments | Post a Comment

An Alabama State Trooper passed out on the side of U.S. 231 while assisting a motorist on Wednesday afternoon, according to Trooper Kevin Cook.

The trooper was helping a motorist change a tire near Ariton, close to mile marker 53, when he became weary. An Ozark police officer saw the trooper motioning for help as he passed by and came to his aid. Cook said the trooper was transported to Dale Medical Center for observation, and he was "conscious and doing fine" as of late Wednesday afternoon.
