Dothan police recently arrested a former employee at JCPenney on a charge she stole $1,944 from the store while she worked there.
According to a Dothan Police Department statement, police arrested Roxan Renova Buggs, 23, of Donalsonville, Ga., and charged her with felony second-degree theft of property. Police said Buggs committed the theft by making fraudulent transactions.
Court records show the theft happened on June 11.
