An employee of Kid’s PizzaKastle ended up in the dungeon on Thursday after being arrested on theft charges.

Robert Bracewell, 36, of Dothan, was charged with first-degree theft of property.

Dothan Police Cpl. Rachel David said Bracewell stole money from the restaurant by doing fraudulent refund and void transactions. David said the allegation is supported by videotape and audits made by the business’ owner.

The thefts took place over a six-month period. The amount of money involved remains unknown, but totals more than $2,500, David said.

“Anytime you have a case like this that occurs over a period of time, it’s hard to determine the exact amount,” she said.

Bracewell was booked into the Dothan City Jail on Thursday and later transferred to the Houston County Jail. His bond is set at $30,000.
