Enterprise police arrested a 50-year-old woman early Friday on charges that she shot another woman.
According to an Enterprise Police statement, officers arrested Janice Baker-Jackson, of Camelot Villa Apartments, and charged her with felony first-degree assault. The charge stemmed from an incident that happened around 3 a.m. Friday in the 900 block of 900 Daleville Avenue.
Police charged Baker-Jackson with shooting 52-year-old Pauline Hightower in the hand during a confrontation at an apartment on Daleville Avenue. Hightower was treated and released at Medical Center Enterprise.
