A Texas man is being held on $150,000 bond after Dothan police say he used a siren and blue lights to force a motorist to move over in traffic.

Steven Grayson Kays, 22, of Haltom City, Texas, is in the Houston County jail after being arrested and charged with impersonating a peace officer, a Class C felony. According to police records, Dothan police responded to a call from a motorist who stated that a person who did not appear to be an officer used blue lights and a siren to force him to move over in traffic.

Dothan Police Sgt. Rachel David said a patrolman located the car and arrested Kays after a roadside investigation.

Kays does not appear to be a member of law enforcement.

Haltom City is a suburb of Fort Worth, Texas.
