» Entering into a subrecipient agreement with the Alfred Saliba Family Services Center to install new windows and make other related improvements on the Young Junior Building under the Community Development Block Grant 2011 Annual Action Plan.
» Entering into a subrecipient agreement with Neighborhood Restoration to support Emergency Housing Repair under the Community Development Block Grant 2011 Annual Action Plan.
» Entering into a grant award agreement with the State of Alabama Tourism Department in the amount of $4,000.00 to assist with marketing of the Dothan Pro Classic 2012 Tennis Tournament and appropriating funds for said grant award.
» Entering into an agreement with Xmed, Inc. for biohazard waste disposal service for a period of 36 months at a monthly cost of $248.50.
» Entering into a grant award agreement with the Wiregrass Foundation accepting funding in the amount of $10,000.00 to assist with the construction of a neighborhood playground on Powell Street.
» Entering into an agreement with the United States Department of Justice, through the United States Marshals Service to accept funding for reimbursement of overtime costs totaling $12,500.00 and fuel/maintenance costs totaling $1,202.00 for officers working with the Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force and appropriating funds for said reimbursement.
» Authorizing the payment of $200,000.00 to the Dothan Downtown Redevelopment Authority in FY 2012 and FY 2013.
» Superseding Resolution Number 2011-23 dated February 1, 2011 and authorizing the Finance Department to make quarterly unemployment compensation payments to the State of Alabama Department of Industrial Relations in an amount not to exceed $50,000.00 per year.
» Entering into an agreement with the Alabama Department of Transportation to trim trees and underbrush by utility lines along U.S. Highway 52 East.
» Approving the payment of invoices for the month of October, 2011 in the amount of $12,144.796.73.
» Appointing Critt Snellgrove as one of the city’s representatives on the Wiregrass Metropolitan Planning Organization.
» Awarding bids and approving purchases over $15,000.00 by the City.
» Approving advance travel requests for City employees.
