I am so tired of the Republican establishment trying to tell the American public who the nominee should be. The elitist of the left of the Republican Party once again want to strap the American people with a choice between the lesser of two evils by pushing Mitt Romney as the eventual nominee against Barack Obama.
The last time the establishment, along with the liberal news media, was allowed to pick the Republican nominee, we ended up with John McCain as the nominee and we all know what a disaster that was. McCain, like Romney, had flip-flopped between claiming to be a conservative and being a liberal that the conservative side and independents stayed home and allowed Barak Obama to become president.
Apparently the liberal wing of the Republican Party learned nothing from the elections of 2010 when conservatives were overwhelmingly elected versus their liberal counterparts. How John McCain survived in Arizona is still a mystery to most conservatives.
Most conservatives are tired of business as usual by the Republican elitists and will not accept a liberal at the head of the ticket this time around. I am ashamed of men like Sean Hannity who have jumped on the bandwagon of supporting any Republican and not standing up for true conservatives.
Hopefully, the nominee will not be decided by the elitists and the people throughout the country will have a chance to decide who the nominee should be.
Alabama’s primary is coming up on March 13; hopefully, the people of this great state will send a message loud and clear that we will not be told who we should vote for and will not be swayed by big-money politics, but by principles.
We should look at not who has the most money, but who can lead our country.
