I think Clint Eastwood did an outstanding job with his Super Bowl ad and I have been a huge fan of Clint since childhood.
With that said, he took a step backward in my book by taking on a company that owes American taxpayers more than it has returned in bailouts. In other words, this would be like me going to my banker and borrowing $10,000 and paying him back $5,000 and putting up billboards thanking him for letting me to continue my bad habits for a short while and paying the sign company the other $5,000.
Eastwood can deny all he wants, but this was very much an endorsement for Obama on our dollar.
I have a few kids I have dealt with in my life who “told” me what they can do and my response to them was don’t tell me, show me.
Until they pay all the money back to the taxpayers, they don’t tell us what they’re going to do in the second half.
This nation is becoming a “hands out” instead of “hands on.”
