Geneva County couple faces meth charges

Geneva County Sheriff’s investigators arrested a Kinston couple earlier this week after they discovered a meth lab at a residence.

Cpl. Eugene Campbell said investigators arrested Jamie Hamilton Johnson, 32, and Christina Marie Pelham, 22, after responding to a report from the Department of Human Resources of a child being exposed to drugs.

Campbell said investigators charged both people with felony manufacturing a controlled substance, possession of precursor chemicals, unlawful possession of a controlled substance and chemical endangerment of a child.
