A Brundidge woman faces a felony charge after authorities say she slapped a Brundidge police officer.
According to court records, Brundidge police arrested 22-year-old Tiffany Boyd on Friday and charged her with second-degree assault.
Records say police charged Boyd with slapping a Brundidge police officer in the face.
Records say the assault happened after police announced themselves at the door of a residence on Pike County Road 3320. The officer was struck after police entered the home. Records did not indicate why police went to the home.
