Federal authorities recently arrested an Ozark woman, who worked as the Fort Rucker bingo operations manager, as part of a felony theft indictment. Court records say Kimberly Jane Thomas has been indicted as part of a 12-count felony indictment charging her with embezzling from the government and making false documents, which contained false information. Court records indicate Thomas served as the administrative manager for bingo operations for Fort Rucker’s Morale, Welfare and Recreation Department at the time of the offenses. Clark Morris, a spokesperson for the U.S. Attorney’s Office, said Thomas worked at a room which was “full” of computerized bingo machines for people to play. Records indicate Thomas was charged with stealing a total of $3,100 from the operations of the bingo games between April and May 2010.
