The Abbeville-Dothan basketball game has been canceled.
Area closures
The Wiregrass Museum of Art will close at 2 p.m. today.
Dothan City youth church league basketball games scheduled for tonight are cancelled.
All programs and baseball/softball registration at all of the Dothan Recreation Centers have been cancelled: Baseball/Softball Registration, Youth and Adult Basketball Games, After School Programs, Swim Team Practice, Belly Dancing, Karate, Zumba, Aquasize, Aqua-Zumba.
Registration for the Miracle League T-Ball & Baseball has been canceled for today.
The Enterprise Community College men and women's basketball games vs. Alabama Southern have been canceled for tonight and will be rescheduled at a later date.
Sign up for the Little Miss Elementary pageant at Headland High School will not be held today. It has been rescheduled for Jan. 31 from 5-7 p.m.
Shelters
There are three locations opening as areas of protection if you live in a structure that you think is unsafe. Please bring your own food, water or other comfort items you might need since these will not be furnished. The protective areas will open at 1:30 p.m. and remain open only until the threat of severe weather is over.
The locations are: Southside Baptist Church, Ridgecrest Baptist Church and Cloverdale Baptist Church.
