OZARK — Dothan and Carroll will play in Monday’s 5 p.m. championship of the Church’s Chicken Hardwood Classic at the Ozark Civic Center.
Dothan beat Houston County 82-47 behind 16 points from Stephen Trawick, 13 from Greg Marsh, 12 from Adrian Kirkland and 10 from Devon Gooden. Quanmel Peterson led the Lions with 16 points.
Carroll beat Northview 66-62. Sylvester Sikes scored 21 and Shakeel Johnson, Kevin Jenkins and Andre Moore each scored 11.
Northview was led by Levert Bristol with 22 points, Marquez White with 12 and Antonio Mitchell with 11.
In the other game, Tallassee beat New Brockton 55-44. For NBHS, Brandon Fardon scored 14.
G.W. Long 37, Ariton 36: The Rebels won their tournament behind 23 points, eight rebounds and four steals from Carlos McLeod. For Ariton, Keshun Leggett scored 14 and Dylan Burnham 13.
McLeod, Dwayne Whigham and Garrett Davis made the all-tournament team for the Rebels. Cody Raymond from Ariton, Wesley Black from Zion Chapel and Logan Sorrells from Geneva County were honored as well.
Ashford Academy 52, SMCA 41: Timmy Garrett led AA with 16 points and Michael Hand scored 13.
Varsity Girls
G.W. Long 47, Zion Chapel 42: In the Rebels’ tournament championship win, Kirstie Ross had 25 points, six rebounds and five assists. Chelsey Sizemore scored eight.
Brooklyn Strahan scored 15 for ZCHS and Lydia Mills scored 13.
Ross, Sizemore and Madison Woodham made the all-tournament team from G.W. Long, along with Mills and Strahan, Ariton’s Calen Turner and Geneva County’s Bridgett Williams.
Ashford 48, Eufaula 33: Daishu McGriff led Ashford with 15 points. Tanesha Jones scored 11 and Brantley Tolar 10. Raven Brown led Eufaula with seven points.
Ashford Academy 44, SMCA 25: Jenna Epperson led AA with 10 points.
Abbeville Christian 51, Lighthouse 17: In the Marty Thrasher Tournament, ACA won the consolation game behind the 16-point effort of Morgan Hatcher and Shelby Spivey with 13.
JV Boys
SMCA 24, Ashford Academy 7: Josh Shumate scored five for AA.
Headland 59, Geneva 29: Adrian Galloway led the Rams with 20 points.

Ashford Academy 34, SMCA 12: Jenna Epperson scored 15 for AA and Alison Galle scored 10.
