EUFAULA – Lakeside advanced to the finals of the Ricky Ward Invitational with a 58-29 win over Abbeville Christian on Wednesday. Peyton Brown scored 18, Kasey Grant scored 11 with 19 rebounds and Jasonie Guice scored 10 with 10 rebounds.

Ashford Academy 73, Randolph Southern 55: Jenna Epperson led Ashford Academy with 30 points and 18 rebounds. Allison Galle scored 12 and Hannah Galle scored 10.

Ashford Academy 57, Lakeside 54 : The Falcons (10-1) advanced to today’s 6 p.m. title game against Crenshaw Christian. Hunter Hawkins scored 16 and Alex Morris scored 12. For Lakeside, Bryan Lee scored 13 and Mack Goff 10 and Brady Buchan had 10 rebounds.
Abbeville Christian wins two: ACA beat Randolph-Southern 79-64 and Chambers Academy 69-54 to claim fifth place, and Dillon Barron made the all-tournament team.
In the first game, Chip White had 13 points, 18 rebounds, 11 assists and six blocks. Dustin Shiver and Austin Reeder scored 18 each and Blake Richards scored 12.
In the second game, White had 17 points, 13 rebounds and six blocks, Reeder scored 17, Barron scored 13 with seven assists and Kyle Helms scored 11 for ACA (11-10).
